Louise M. Pare

Louise M. Paré, Ph.D., native Oregonian, is a dynamic international women's spirituality and movement educator, published writer and practicing spiritual counselor. She earned her doctorate in Women's Spirituality at the California Institute of Integral Studies (CIIS) in San Francisco and her M.A. in Religious Studies from Mundelein College in Chicago. She teaches embodied movement and writing classes and her poetry has been published in dark mother--african origins and godmothers, She is Everywhere! An Anthology of Writing in Womanist/Feminist Spirituality, Vol 2, and Talking to Goddess: Powerful Voices From Many Traditions. She has contributed to several anthologies including The Spiritual Path: Explorations in Woman's Spirituality, Streams From the River: Women's Sacred Wisdom, and Keys to the Open Gate: A Women's Spirituality Sourcebook. She lives in Ashland, Oregon where she loves screening documentaries for the Ashland Independent Film Festival, directing a youth program for the Rogue Valley Unitarian Universalist Fellowship, and creating programs for women's spirituality education and empowerment.
