Fred Melden

Fred Melden is a past editor of Shakespeare's Monkey Revue and has produced a dozen of his own limited-edition poetry chapbooks. His work has also been published in Seeds of...A Tawk Press Anthology of Pacific Northwest Writers, and has been jury-selected for performances in Forest Grove. He is frequent host for the monthly open mic series sponsored by the Walters Cultural Arts Center in Hillsboro and is co-director of Last Monday Poetry, a monthly group that invites writers to present their work and discuss it with the audience. He is also author of Education Goals and American Values, published by Publish America under the pseudonym Alcuin York. He has lived in Hillsboro, Oregon since 2005.
