Sue Armstrong

Sue Armstrong has been writing poetry since college and initially used it to work through issues of depression. Not until she reached her fifties did she share her work with others and then, fortunate to be part of a strong writer's critique group, she began the journey of understanding the real process of writing for readers. Her poetry chapbook, CHAOS, was published in 2010 and she is currently working on her first novel. She has taught preschool most of her adult life and worked for several years in programs for children at high risk of abuse and neglect. Married to teacher and writer Bill Armstrong, they share a home in Southern Oregon's Umpqua Valley.
