Kevin Brown

Through taking the poetry courses taught at Lewis & Clark College, Kevin Brown found himself interested in exploring the themes of intimacy and longing during adolescence in his poetry. He has taken inspiration from poets such as D.A. Powell, Louise Gluck, and most recently, Sylvia Plath. Very interested in Japanese culture and preparing to work as an English teacher in Japan, he hopes to tie together his life in America to his experiences in Japan in his poems.
